In terms of external dimensions, the 4-terminal specification "SMLP34 Series" in the model illuminated from the package is 1mm × 1mm × 0.5mm; the 6-terminal specification "SMLP36 Series" is 1.5mm × 1.0mm × 0.2mm; The SML03 series" is 2.7 mm x 0.95 mm x 0.5 mm. The product was positioned by the company in the small LED "Picoled" series.
When the current in the forward direction is 20 mA, the forward voltage is 2.2 V when the red light is emitted, 3.3 V when the green light is emitted, and 3.2 V when the blue light is emitted. In terms of the emission wavelength, the standard is 630 nm when red light is emitted, 530 nm when green light is emitted, and 470 nm when green light is emitted. The luminous intensities were 125 mcd, 250 mcd and 75 mcd, respectively. Samples will be available starting in July 2007 at a price of 150 yen per piece. Mass production will begin in October 2007 with a monthly production capacity of 10 million units. It is scheduled to be produced by Rohm Wako of Okayama Prefecture.
