Component selection

The isolation diodes of VDl, VD2 and word lamp units are all selected from 1N4007 type silicon rectifier diodes; VD3 selects 1N4148 type silicon switch diodes.
The light-emitting diodes in each word lamp unit are all selected from red light-emitting diodes of d5-pl2mm. VS selects silicon steady voltage diode of lW, l2V. VTl-VD2 selects MCRlO0-6 type thyristor.
ICl selects NE555 type time base integrated circuit; IC2 selects CD4017 or CC4017 type decimal counting/pulse distributor integrated circuit.
The power circuit is composed of a step-down capacitor C1, a bleeder resistor R1, a rectifier diode VD1, a VD2, a Zener diode VS, and a filter capacitor C2.
The pulse generator is composed of a time base integrated circuit ICl, resistors R2, R3 and capacitors C3, C4. The control circuit is composed of a decimal counting/pulse distributor integrated circuit IC2, a diode VD3, a resistor R4-R8, a capacitor C5, and a thyristor VT1-VW.
The LED display circuit consists of four word-light displays, each of which is a 16x16 array of 256 word units. Each of the lamp units is composed of a light-emitting diode VL, a current limiting resistor R and an isolating diode VD4-VD7 as shown.
In the word lamp unit, V+ is the positive power input terminal, and the negative terminal of VD4-VD7 is used as the sentence selection end of the word lamp (breakpoint terminal 1-4). When the selected end of a sentence is low, the four-word phrase in the sentence is all displayed, that is, the negative pole of VLl-VL7 and the light-emitting diode (stroke-shaped stroke) to be lit in the four-word 4-word phrase respectively. After the AC 220V voltage is rectified by VDl, the pulsating DC voltage is supplied to the V+ terminal of the U-lamp display; after the other steps are stepped by Cl, VD2 rectification, VS voltage regulation and C2 filtering, a +l2V DC voltage is generated to supply ICl and IC2.
After the clock generator is energized, a square wave pulse (interval of 10 s) is output from pin 3 of IC1 as a count pulse of IC2. IC2 starts counting after power-on reset, and its YO-YS terminal turns to output high level in turn. When the YO terminal of IC2 outputs a high level, the Yl-Y5 terminals are all low level. Since the YO terminal is floating, the word light display is not lit. When IC2 counts the first clock pulse, its Y1 terminal outputs a high level, which causes VT1 to be triggered and turned on. The word selection terminal 1 (the negative electrode of diode VD4 in each word lamp unit) in the word lamp display becomes low. After about 10s, lC2 counts the second clock pulse, and Y2 outputs a high level to make Vn turn on. The second sentence of the 4th phrase "Long live the motherland" lights up (at this time, the Y1 end of IC2 returns to low level). , VTl cutoff, the first sentence of the 4 word group is extinguished).
When the Y3 end and the Y4 end of IC2 output a high level in turn, VT3 and VT4 will be turned on in turn, so that the 4th sentence of the 4th sentence "Guotai Min'an" and the 4th sentence of the 4th phrase "Putian Celebration" are successively lit.
When the Y5 terminal of IC2 outputs a high level, IC2 is forced to reset, the YO terminal outputs a high level, and the 4-word 4-word phrase is extinguished.
