2. LED lighting principle
The light emitting diode is mainly composed of a PN junction chip, an electrode, and an optical system. Its illuminator, the area of the wafer is 10.12 mil (1 mil = 0.0254 mm 2 ), and there are currently large wafer LEDs in the world with a wafer area of 40 mils.
The illuminating process consists of three parts: carrier injection under forward bias, composite radiation and light energy transmission. The mainstream of LED lighting sources will be high-brightness white LEDs. a. High luminous efficiency
